The market
Asheville is the seat of Buncombe County, about 2,100 feet up in the Blue Ridge Mountains where the Swannanoa River meets the French Broad. In September 2024, Hurricane Helene drove both rivers to record crests, above the historic flood of 1916, and the floodwater tore through the River Arts District and Biltmore Village.
How RAZE ran it
Mountain sites around Asheville can sit up steep roads and a long way from a signal. The RAZE Mobile App is built for that: capture carries on offline, the app keeps track of which sets of data are still waiting to sync, and the complete record uploads as soon as the phone reconnects. For a rebuild, that record shows the work line by line, geo-stamped and time-stamped.
