Draw Inspections in 5 Unique Places, February 2026

February 2026 ran from the cotton country of the Texas South Plains to two coasts, with a stop in the Appalachian foothills on the way. RAZE completed draw inspections in a plains city where draws come due by the month, a Louisiana suburb where lots get built before they get addresses, a river city in the hills, a sea island with one road on and off, and a Florida harbor city rebuilt to stronger codes after Hurricane Charley.

Each of those places brought its own condition, and each condition already had an answer in the product. RAZE takes draw inspection orders at any U.S. address, including Alaska and Hawaii, and runs every one of them the same way: order, dispatch, capture, deliver.

The market

Lubbock is the biggest city on the South Plains and the seat of Lubbock County, at about 3,200 feet on the flat tableland of the Llano Estacado. It is home to Texas Tech University and the hub of a region that is the largest contiguous cotton-growing area in the world, and it passed 257,000 residents in the 2020 census.

How RAZE ran it

Distance across open plains is not the hard part in Lubbock; the volume is. A construction lender here holds a book of loans with a draw due on each one every month, so every order follows the same path in RAZE: placed in the Ordering Engine, dispatched, captured in the RAZE Mobile App against the draw sheet, and delivered in one report format. The last Lubbock draw a reviewer reads in a month looks exactly like the first.

The market

Youngsville, on the south side of Lafayette Parish, was a town of about 2,200 people in 1990. It counted nearly 16,000 at the 2020 census, was Louisiana's fastest-growing town from 1990 to 2005, and has led the parish's growth in recent years. New home construction in the Youngsville area has outpaced the rest of the parish, and a new subdivision has streets and lots well before it has street numbers.

How RAZE ran it

Orders here often arrive as a lot number, before the street address exists, on new subdivision streets a map doesn't know yet. RAZE doesn't need the street number to prove the visit. On site, every photo the inspector captures in the RAZE Mobile App carries GPS latitude and longitude with date and time stamps, linked to its draw sheet line item, so the lender can see where each photo was taken and which work the draw is paying for, mailbox number or not.

The market

Collis P. Huntington founded the city in 1871 as the western end of his Chesapeake and Ohio Railway, on the Ohio River near the point where West Virginia, Kentucky and Ohio meet. It is home to Marshall University and lies mostly in Cabell County, with a part in Wayne County. After the Ohio River flood of 1937, the worst on record there, the Army Corps of Engineers built the floodwall that guards the low ground, and neighborhoods climb the hills to the south.

How RAZE ran it

Huntington is a river city at the western edge of the Appalachian foothills, so one day of draws can run from a level lot near downtown to a hillside site up a winding road. Each photo the inspector captures in the RAZE Mobile App is linked to the draw sheet line item it supports and carries GPS coordinates and date and time stamps, so the lender can see where on the hill each one was taken and which work it documents.

The market

Edisto Island is one of South Carolina's Sea Islands, about 45 miles southwest of Charleston. The larger part of it is unincorporated Charleston County, while the beach town at its southern tip, Edisto Beach, is in Colleton County. SC 174 is the one road on and off, and its 17-mile run across the island is a National Scenic Byway under live oaks and past open marsh. The island has stayed rural.

How RAZE ran it

Distance is the condition on Edisto. A lender may have no inspector within reach of the end of SC 174, and it doesn't need one: the Marketplace sends a background-checked inspector from the RAZE Inspection Network, and the island draw comes back in the same format as one in the city. A lender that already works with an inspector in the Lowcountry can route the order to them by Direct Request, through the same workflow and into the same report.

The market

Punta Gorda has rebuilt once already. Hurricane Charley came ashore as a Category 4 storm in August 2004, and the city rebuilt to stronger, hurricane-resistant codes; when Ian made landfall just south of town in September 2022 with the same 145 mph winds, most of those rebuilt homes held. The county seat and only incorporated city in Charlotte County, it sits where the Peace River meets Charlotte Harbor, with whole neighborhoods built along canals.

How RAZE ran it

On a coastal build, the stages that matter most are the ones the post-Charley codes tightened: how high the home sits and how the roof ties down to the foundation. Every photo the inspector captures in the RAZE Mobile App carries GPS coordinates and date and time stamps and is linked to the draw sheet line item it supports, so a lender reviewing a canal-front build sees where and when each of those stages was documented.

Lot numbers, hillsides, a one-road island and a flood zone: none of it moves the price. RAZE prices draw inspections by project type, not location, so a new home in Lubbock and a raised home on Edisto Island cost the same, and so does any other U.S. address. Why it works

What makes RAZE work in markets like these

Addresses that don't exist yet, hillside roads and a sea island at the end of one highway: here is what carries the same workflow through all of them.

  • Offline draft mode

Field capture works without a signal. The submission syncs when the phone reconnects.

  • Photos tied to line items

The record shows which lot and which work a draw pays for, whatever the order called the address.

  • Inspector on a framed jobsite using the RAZE Mobile App, with budget line items and percent complete on screen

    RAZE Mobile App

Photos and percent complete, captured against the draw sheet.

  • Marketplace where you have no inspector

RAZE sends a background-checked inspector from the RAZE Inspection Network.

  • Direct Request where you do

Your own inspector runs the same workflow and returns the same report. You pay them directly.

  • Geo-stamped. Time-stamped. Photo-documented.

Every photo carries location and time, linked to its draw sheet line item.

  • The same report in every market

A reviewer reads a Lubbock subdivision and an Edisto Island build in the same format.

Frequently asked questions

Yes. RAZE completed draw inspections in each of them in February 2026, and it takes orders at any U.S. address, including Alaska and Hawaii, at the same RAZE Rate Card price with no travel surcharge. A lender with its own inspector nearby can route the order by Direct Request; where it has none, the Marketplace sends a background-checked inspector from the RAZE Inspection Network.

Yes. Every photo the inspector captures in the RAZE Mobile App carries GPS latitude and longitude and date and time stamps, and each one is linked to its draw sheet line item. A reviewer can tell a level lot near downtown from a site up a winding road south of it, and see which work each photo supports, in the same report format as any other RAZE draw.
