The market
Raleigh was planned as North Carolina's capital from the start: state commissioners bought 1,000 acres from Joel Lane, and the city was chartered in 1792. The City of Oaks counted 467,665 residents at the 2020 census, the count in which Wake County passed Mecklenburg as the state's most populous county after growing by a quarter in ten years.
How RAZE ran it
Orders in Raleigh have come in as lot numbers, before a street address existed. In the RAZE Mobile App, GPS coordinates and date and time stamps on every photo tie the work to the lot, and each photo is linked to its draw sheet line item, so a lender with loans across Wake County sees which lot and which work a draw is paying for, whatever the order called the address.
