Draw Inspections in 5 Unique Places, November 2025

November 2025 opened in Columbia, South Carolina's capital, where the Broad and Saluda Rivers meet to form the Congaree. From the Midlands the month went to Choctawhatchee Bay in the Florida Panhandle, up into North Carolina's High Country, west to the north end of Dallas-Fort Worth and back east to the apple country of the North Georgia mountains.

Banner Elk and Ellijay are mountain towns where orders have come in as lot numbers, before a street address existed, and where a site can be a long way from a signal. The other three test the workflow differently: a capital metro split by rivers, a bay town that more than tripled in a decade, a university city where the two halves of Interstate 35 meet again. RAZE takes draw inspection orders at any U.S. address, including Alaska and Hawaii, on one RAZE Rate Card, and all five ran on the same four steps.

The market

Columbia is South Carolina's capital and the seat of Richland County, with 136,632 residents at the 2020 census and part of the city in Lexington County. It sits on the fall line where the Broad and Saluda Rivers join to form the Congaree, a river that also marks part of the line between Richland and Lexington. Fort Jackson, the Army's largest initial entry training post, is next door.

How RAZE ran it

Rivers and a county line run through the middle of the Midlands, so a month of Columbia draws can land on both banks and in two counties. Every photo taken in the RAZE Mobile App is geo-stamped and time-stamped and linked to its draw sheet line item, so the lender sees which side of the water each draw's work is on, and gets the same report from a site in Richland County as from one in Lexington.

The market

Freeport sits in the middle of Walton County, on the north side of Choctawhatchee Bay in the Florida Panhandle. U.S. 331 crosses the bay to Santa Rosa Beach on the Clyde B. Wells Bridge, more than two miles long, with a second span for northbound traffic finished in 2017. Freeport had 1,787 residents at the 2010 census and 5,861 in 2020.

How RAZE ran it

A lender based outside the Panhandle may have no inspector of its own around the bay, and it doesn't need one. The lender orders through RAZE as usual, the Marketplace sends a background-checked inspector from the RAZE Inspection Network, and the photos, geo-stamps and time stamps come back in the same report as a draw anywhere else. A lender that already works with an inspector on the bay can route the order by Direct Request instead.

The market

Denton is the seat of Denton County, at the north end of the Dallas-Fort Worth area, where Interstates 35E and 35W join again as I-35. The University of North Texas, founded in 1890, and Texas Woman's University, founded in 1901, are both here. Denton County passed one million residents in Census Bureau estimates for 2023, the seventh Texas county to get there.

How RAZE ran it

Growth on that scale keeps draws coming due all over the county. RAZE runs each order through the same four steps (order, dispatch, capture, deliver), and every inspector captures against the same draw sheet criteria, so a lender reviews a Denton draw beside one from Dallas or Fort Worth without translating between report formats.

The market

Ellijay is the seat of Gilmer County, incorporated in 1834 where the Ellijay and Cartecay Rivers join to form the Coosawattee. It is known as the Apple Capital of Georgia and holds the Georgia Apple Festival every October, and mountain lots sit in the hills around a town of 1,862 people.

How RAZE ran it

Orders in Ellijay have come in as lot numbers, before a street address existed, and a site up a mountain road can be a long way from a signal. The RAZE Mobile App keeps capturing offline: photos, percent complete and responses are saved on the phone, everything syncs in full once the device reconnects, and the app shows which sets of data were captured offline and still need to sync.

A mountain lot above Ellijay, a lot number in Banner Elk and a new home on Choctawhatchee Bay are priced the way a house in Columbia or Denton is: by project type, not location. The RAZE Rate Card covers any U.S. address, including Alaska and Hawaii, with no travel surcharge. Why it works

What makes RAZE work in markets like these

Seven things carry the workflow from a capital on three rivers to mountain lots with no street number yet, without changing it.

  • Offline draft mode

Field capture works without a signal. The submission syncs when the phone reconnects.

  • Photos tied to line items

The record shows which lot and which work a draw is paying for, whatever the order called the address.

  • Inspector on a framed jobsite using the RAZE Mobile App, with budget line items and percent complete on screen

    RAZE Mobile App

Photos and percent complete, captured against the draw sheet.

  • Marketplace where you have no inspector

RAZE sends a background-checked inspector from the RAZE Inspection Network.

  • Direct Request where you do

Your own inspector runs the same workflow and returns the same report. You pay them directly.

  • Geo-stamped. Time-stamped. Photo-documented.

Every photo carries GPS coordinates and a time stamp, even on a lot with no street number yet.

  • The same report in every market

A reviewer reads a mountain home above Ellijay and a new home in Denton in the same format.

Frequently asked questions

Yes. All five had draw inspections completed through RAZE in November 2025, and RAZE takes orders at any U.S. address, including Alaska and Hawaii, on one RAZE Rate Card. Where a lender has no inspector, the Marketplace sends a background-checked inspector from the RAZE Inspection Network; where it has one, Direct Request routes the order to that inspector through the same workflow.

No. Walton County runs on Central time, an hour behind most of Florida. The order, the capture in the RAZE Mobile App and the report the lender receives work the same way as in any Eastern Time market, on the same RAZE Rate Card.
