Draw Inspections in 5 Unique Places, October 2025

October 2025 started where lenders build the most. Dallas sits at the center of a metro that issued more single-family permits than any other in the country except Houston in the first half of 2025, and from there the month spread across the Southeast: a Triangle town in North Carolina, a college city on Interstate 75 in southeast Tennessee, a Treasure Coast city laid out in lots before most of it was built, and the lake country of Upstate South Carolina.

Each place brought its own test. Orders in Cleveland have come in as lot numbers, before a street address existed; a new home in Port St. Lucie can rise between finished ones on a street laid out decades ago; a lake lot near Anderson can sit at the end of a long peninsula road. RAZE takes draw inspection orders at any U.S. address, including Alaska and Hawaii, on one RAZE Rate Card, and all five ran on the same workflow: order, dispatch, capture, deliver.

The market

Dallas is the seat of Dallas County and the anchor of the Dallas-Fort Worth metro, which issued more single-family permits than any U.S. metro except Houston in the first half of 2025, by the National Association of Home Builders' count. The city itself crosses county lines: most of it is in Dallas County, with slices in Collin, Denton, Kaufman and Rockwall Counties.

How RAZE ran it

A lender with a Dallas book can review a month of draws spread over five counties without leaving the city limits. RAZE runs every order through the same steps, every inspector captures against the same draw sheet criteria, and every report comes back in one format, whichever county the house stands in. That keeps a month of Dallas draws comparable line for line.

The market

Apex takes its name from the railroad: the town grew up at the highest point on the Chatham Railroad, completed in 1869, and its motto plays on the name: "The Peak of Good Living." Southwest of Raleigh in Wake County, it went from 37,476 residents at the 2010 census to 58,780 in 2020, growth that shows in its new neighborhoods.

How RAZE ran it

A neighborhood that goes up in phases puts homes at different stages side by side, so a draw's evidence has to belong to the right house. Every photo in the RAZE Mobile App is linked to its draw sheet line item and carries GPS coordinates and a time stamp. A lender with several loans on one Apex street sees each home's progress on its own budget.

The market

Cleveland is the seat of Bradley County, about 30 miles northeast of Chattanooga on Interstate 75, the corridor that runs on to Knoxville. Lee University is here, and the Church of God has kept its general headquarters in the Cleveland area since the early 1900s.

How RAZE ran it

Orders in Cleveland have come in as lot numbers, before a street address existed. Every photo taken in the RAZE Mobile App carries GPS latitude and longitude and date and time stamps, which put the work on the right lot, and each one is linked to its draw sheet line item, so a lender on the I-75 corridor sees which lot and which work a draw is paying for, whatever the order called the address.

The market

Port St. Lucie was drawn on paper before most of it was built. General Development Corporation bought land along the North Fork of the St. Lucie River in 1958 and laid out thousands of residential lots with roads and basic infrastructure, and the city was incorporated in 1961. By the 2020 census it had 204,851 residents, the most of any city in St. Lucie County. In September 2004, Hurricanes Frances and Jeanne came ashore three weeks apart near the southern end of Hutchinson Island, about two miles from each other.

How RAZE ran it

A city of pre-platted lots fills in one house at a time, so a new home can rise between finished ones on a street laid out decades ago. In the RAZE Mobile App, every photo is geo-stamped, time-stamped and linked to its draw sheet line item, so the evidence on file is for this lot and no other. On a coast with that storm history, the lender's file shows the block walls, the roof and the window openings as they stood on the day of the inspection.

The market

Anderson is the seat of Anderson County, just off Interstate 85 between Atlanta and Charlotte. It has been called the Electric City since 1895, when William C. Whitner's hydroelectric plant on the Rocky River brought it power. Lake Hartwell, a U.S. Army Corps of Engineers reservoir on the Georgia line, has 962 miles of shoreline.

How RAZE ran it

A homesite at the end of a Hartwell peninsula can sit a long way off the main road, and a lender with no inspector of its own in the Upstate doesn't need one. The Marketplace sends a background-checked inspector from the RAZE Inspection Network, a lender that has an inspector here can route the order by Direct Request instead, and the report comes back in the same format as a draw in Dallas.

A lot with no street number in Bradley County, an infill home on a decades-old Port St. Lucie street and a lake house above Hartwell all sit on the same RAZE Rate Card. RAZE prices draw inspections by project type, not location, at any U.S. address, including Alaska and Hawaii, with no travel surcharge. Why it works

What makes RAZE work in markets like these

Seven things carry the workflow from a city in five counties to lot numbers in Bradley County and lake roads above Hartwell, without changing it.

  • Offline draft mode

Field capture keeps going without a signal, and everything syncs in full once the phone reconnects.

  • Photos tied to line items

The record shows which lot and which work a draw is paying for, whatever the order called the address.

  • Inspector on a framed jobsite using the RAZE Mobile App, with budget line items and percent complete on screen

    RAZE Mobile App

Photos and percent complete, captured against the draw sheet.

  • Marketplace where you have no inspector

RAZE sends a background-checked inspector from the RAZE Inspection Network.

  • Direct Request where you do

Your own inspector runs the same workflow and returns the same report. You pay them directly.

  • Geo-stamped. Time-stamped. Photo-documented.

Every photo carries location and time, linked to its draw sheet line item.

  • The same report in every market

A reviewer reads a new home in Dallas and a lake house above Hartwell in the same format.

Frequently asked questions

Yes. RAZE completed draw inspections in all five in October 2025, and it takes orders at any U.S. address, including Alaska and Hawaii, at one RAZE Rate Card price. A lender with no inspector nearby orders through the Marketplace, which sends a background-checked inspector from the RAZE Inspection Network; a lender with its own inspector routes the order by Direct Request.

Yes. A single-lot build is ordered like any other, through the Marketplace or by Direct Request. In the RAZE Mobile App, every photo is geo-stamped, time-stamped and linked to its draw sheet line item, which keeps the evidence on that lot and off the finished houses beside it, and the price is the same RAZE Rate Card price as a home in a new subdivision.
