Draw Inspections in 5 Unique Places, September 2025

September 2025 led with Greenville, the seat of South Carolina's most populous county, then ran up the Blue Ridge to Crozet in Virginia's old orchard country, back down to Georgia's gold country in Dahlonega and North Carolina's Land of Waterfalls in Brevard, and finished on the Gulf of Mexico in Naples. RAZE completed draw inspections in all five.

In Greenville, Crozet, Dahlonega and Brevard, orders have come in as lot numbers, before a street address existed, and the three mountain towns can put a site a long way from a signal. RAZE takes draw inspection orders at any U.S. address, including Alaska and Hawaii, on one RAZE Rate Card, and every one of these ran the same way: order, dispatch, capture, deliver.

The market

Greenville is the seat of Greenville County, the most populous county in South Carolina, and the county expects about 220,000 more residents by 2040. Downtown turned toward the Reedy River after the city removed the Camperdown Bridge, which had hidden the river's falls, in 2002; Falls Park and the Liberty Bridge opened two years later and drew new development along the river into the West End.

How RAZE ran it

Orders here have come in as lot numbers, before a street address existed. A lender with a book of loans across the county needs every draw tied to the right lot, and the photos do that: each one taken in the RAZE Mobile App carries GPS latitude and longitude with date and time stamps, linked to its draw sheet line item, whatever the order says.

The market

Crozet grew up around a C&O railroad depot that opened in 1876, about 12 miles west of Charlottesville, and shipped the apples and peaches of western Albemarle's orchards. It takes its name from Claudius Crozet, whose Blue Ridge Tunnel under Rockfish Gap was the longest in North America when it opened in 1858. Albemarle County adopted the first Crozet Master Plan in 2004 and made the village a growth area.

How RAZE ran it

Orders here have come in as lot numbers, before a street address existed, in a village Albemarle County has planned for growth since 2004. Every photo taken in the RAZE Mobile App is linked to its draw sheet line item, with GPS coordinates and date and time stamps, so the record shows which lot at the foot of the Blue Ridge and which work a draw is paying for, whatever the order called the address.

The market

Dahlonega is the Lumpkin County seat, about 70 miles north of Atlanta and home to the main campus of the University of North Georgia. The Georgia Gold Rush began here in 1829, a U.S. branch mint coined gold in town from 1838 to 1861, and Lumpkin County gold carried to Atlanta by wagon train in 1958 went onto the State Capitol dome. In 2018 the hills around town became the Dahlonega Plateau wine appellation.

How RAZE ran it

Sites outside town sit along winding foothill roads, and orders here have come in as lot numbers, before a street address existed. Every photo taken in the RAZE Mobile App is geo-stamped and time-stamped and linked to its draw sheet line item, so the lender's file shows which foothill lot the work is on and the day it was captured, whatever the order called the address.

The market

Brevard is the Transylvania County seat, in a county that calls itself the Land of Waterfalls for the roughly 250 falls inside its borders. More than half of the county is public land, including part of Pisgah National Forest, DuPont State Recreational Forest and Gorges State Park. The town itself is known for the Brevard Music Center and its white squirrels.

How RAZE ran it

Orders here have come in as lot numbers, before a street address existed, and a cove lot with national forest on the ridge above it can be a long way from a signal. The RAZE Mobile App keeps capturing offline: the app flags which sets of data were captured offline and still need to sync, and everything syncs in full once the phone reconnects on the way back to town.

The market

Naples was founded in 1886 as a winter retreat on the Gulf of Mexico, and Collier County's population still climbs each winter when seasonal residents arrive. On September 28, 2022, Hurricane Ian's storm surge set a record at the city's NOAA tide station and tore away much of the Naples Pier.

How RAZE ran it

A Naples home can belong to someone who spends most of the year up north, financed by a lender with no inspector in Southwest Florida. That lender doesn't need one: the Marketplace sends a background-checked inspector from the RAZE Inspection Network, and the geo-stamped, time-stamped report comes back through the same workflow as a draw near the lender's own office. A lender with its own inspector on the Gulf Coast can use Direct Request instead.

A lot number in the Blue Ridge foothills, a cove far from a signal and a lender with no inspector on the Gulf Coast change the field work and leave the price where it is. RAZE prices draw inspections by project type, not location, so a new home in Brevard costs what one in Naples costs, and so does any other U.S. address, including Alaska and Hawaii, with no travel surcharge. For the choice between the two ways to fill an order, read Marketplace vs. Direct Request for Draw Inspections. For ordering in a new market, read Nationwide Draw Inspection Coverage: Any U.S. Address.

Why it works

What makes RAZE work in markets like these

From lots without street numbers in the Blue Ridge to the Gulf of Mexico, these seven capabilities keep the workflow the same.

  • Offline draft mode

Field capture works without a signal. The app shows what still needs to sync and sends it all once the phone reconnects.

  • Photos tied to line items

The record shows which lot and which work a draw is paying for, whatever the order called the address.

  • Inspector on a framed jobsite using the RAZE Mobile App, with budget line items and percent complete on screen

    RAZE Mobile App

Photos and percent complete, captured against the draw sheet.

  • Marketplace where you have no inspector

RAZE sends a background-checked inspector from the RAZE Inspection Network.

  • Direct Request where you do

Your own inspector runs the same workflow and returns the same report. You pay them directly.

  • Geo-stamped. Time-stamped. Photo-documented.

Every photo carries location and time, linked to its draw sheet line item.

  • The same report in every market

A reviewer reads a mountain lot in Brevard and a Gulf Coast home in Naples in the same format.

Frequently asked questions

Yes. RAZE completed draw inspections in all five in September 2025, and it takes orders at any U.S. address, including Alaska and Hawaii, at the same RAZE Rate Card price with no travel surcharge. The Marketplace sends a background-checked inspector from the RAZE Inspection Network; Direct Request routes the order to your own inspector.

No. RAZE prices draw inspections by project type, not location, so a build in Naples and one in Brevard, Dahlonega or Crozet are on the same RAZE Rate Card, with no travel surcharge, and so is any other U.S. address.
