Checking Status and Downloading the Report
Check the inspection from your system to follow its status, then download the report once it's ready.

Before You Start
You've ordered the inspection and saved its inspection ID.
You have a valid access token (see Getting an Access Token).
Step 1 — Read the Status
Get the inspection
Under Check Status, get the inspection with its inspection ID. The response has the status plus the line items, photos, documents, notes and audit history.
Know the statuses
Lender Open: ordered. In Progress: an inspector locked it and is working. Submitted: the inspector sent it back. Lender Approved or Lender Rejected: your decision.
Step 2 — Check on a Schedule
Poll from your system
RAZE doesn't push status changes to your system, so check on a schedule. The portal calls this step Check Status & Download Results (Polling).
Your RAZE contact can include custom email notifications and alerts in your integration.
Step 3 — Download the Report
Wait until it's ready
After the inspector submits, RAZE quality review checks the report before it reaches you. The inspection shows when the report document is ready.
Download it
Once it's ready, download the inspection report with the inspection ID under Check Status.
Step 4 — Read the Report
What's inside
The cover shows your logo, the property, the inspection number and the date. The draw sheet shows percent complete for each line item against the schedule of values. Photos are time and location stamped and link to the line items or questions they support. Inspector notes print on the report.

- •Check status at a steady interval, not in a tight loop.
- •Use the audit history to see who changed the status and when.
- •Download and review the report before you decide.

- •Download the report only after the inspection shows it's ready.
- •Submitted isn't the decision: your approve or reject call is.
- •Every status and report call needs the inspection ID.
