Short answer

On RAZE, Marketplace inspections appear in the RAZE Mobile App for qualified inspectors, each with its distance in miles. The inspector opens the job, reads the due date, draw number, fee and Special Instructions, and taps Lock Inspection to take it. Direct Request work comes from a lender who already works with the inspector, through the same app and report.

Marketplace assignments.

When a lender orders a Marketplace inspection, the job is listed for approved inspectors, with the distance to the property in miles. In the RAZE Mobile App, the map screen opens on the jobs already associated with your profile; the list button at the top right switches to Marketplace Inspections, where each card shows the street address, the city, state and ZIP, the distance in miles and the request date. Tapping a card opens the details: the due date, the draw number, the progress, the fee, the Special Instructions and the general contractor's contact.

Nothing is assigned until the inspector acts. Tap Lock Inspection and the job is locked to you; Fill Coordination Note takes its place at the bottom of the screen, and the next step is to contact the borrower about site access. Cancel releases the job, and it goes back to the Marketplace. The lock guide and the site access guide show each screen.

Why it matters for inspectors.

The fee is on the job before you lock it, so there is no quoting and no negotiating on site. The RAZE Draw Inspection Support team sets it from drive time, the number of jobs in the trip, access to the site, the draw sheet and the type of job, and whenever Support updates a fee the app sends a price alert. What the fees are and when they are paid is in how much draw inspectors get paid.

Reading the details before you lock is the whole discipline. Lock only the jobs you can complete by their due date, read the Special Instructions, and contact the borrower right after you lock, so the visit is scheduled early. An inspection without confirmed coordinates shows an Unconfirmed badge; you can still lock it, and Help on the inspection requests location support.

Direct Request assignments.

A Direct Request is a lender's own order to an inspector it already works with: its staff, a vendor on its panel or an independent it has used before. The lender picks the inspector when it places the order, the job appears in that inspector's RAZE Mobile App, and the inspection runs through the same photos, draw sheet, questionnaire and report as a Marketplace job.## How RAZE handles it.

RAZE qualifies every inspector before a job is visible: the Vendor Application lists the identity, competency, watchlist and insurance screening each applicant passes, and the standards hold for as long as the inspector is on the network.Inspectors are paid by direct deposit every Friday for the prior week's submissions, with nothing to invoice (how RAZE pays inspectors weekly). What the inspector records on site is covered in what a draw inspector looks for.
