From the RAZE Coverage Report
For a lender, a flood zone rebuild comes down to the evidence of its elevation work. In the RAZE Mobile App, the inspector photographs the foundation, the piles or stem walls and the rest of the work against the draw sheet, and every photo is geo-stamped, time-stamped and linked to the line item it supports. The lender sees the elevated structure itself, not just a percent complete.

About this market
Tampa is the seat of Hillsborough County and the largest city on Tampa Bay. In September 2024, Hurricane Helene's storm surge set records at every valid tide gauge around the bay, and about two weeks later Hurricane Milton came ashore on Siesta Key, south of the bay.
Rebuilding in a mapped flood zone runs on the 50 percent rule: once repairs or improvements reach half of a structure's market value, the whole building must meet current floodplain rules, often by elevating it. A RAZE draw inspection photographs that elevation work against the draw sheet, geo-stamped and time-stamped, so the lender sees the foundation itself, not just a percent complete.
