Draw Inspections in 5 Unique Places, January 2025

    Photos linked to line items

A raised beach house goes up in stages a lender wants to see one at a time: the pilings, the raised floor system, the framing and the roof. RAZE links every photo to its draw sheet line item, with GPS coordinates and a date and time stamp, so a reviewer can match each stage on a canal lot or an oceanfront lot to the money it draws.

About this market

Ocean Isle Beach is one of the South Brunswick Islands, about seven miles of barrier island in Brunswick County that was incorporated as a town in 1959. Hurricane Hazel destroyed much of the beach in 1954, the damage was repaired, and canals dug through the island created canal-front lots. The Odell Williamson Bridge, 65 feet high and built in 1986, carries NC 904 over the Intracoastal Waterway.

On the island, a draw follows a raised home through its stages, from the pilings to the roof. RAZE ties each Ocean Isle Beach photo to its draw sheet line item with location and time, so a lender sees which stage it is funding on a canal lot or on the oceanfront.
