# Completing the Draw Sheet

## Quick Reference

- Open the Draw Sheet tab. Each row is a budget line the lender defined.
- Read Max%, Previous% and Available% before you type anything.
- Enter Current% as the total completed to date for each line item.
- Never exceed Available%: it is the hard limit for the draw.

## Before You Start

- You've walked the site and noted the progress on each construction category.
- Your photos are uploaded, so you can match each percentage to evidence.

## Step 1: Open the Draw Sheet

**One row per budget line.** Each row is a construction category from the lender’s budget in the Ordering Engine, with a Comment, Photo, Max%, Previous%, Available% and Current% column.

## Step 2: Enter Current% for Each Line

**Total to date, within Available%.** Enter the Current% for each line item as the total approved progress to date, not only the work since your last visit. Percentages accumulate across inspections. Available% is your hard limit, so funds are released only for work that is complete.

## Tips

**DO**
- Fill in the Draw Sheet on site while the details are fresh.
- Check Available% before you type a Current% figure.
- Add a Comment where a percentage needs an explanation.

**WATCH FOR**
- Current% is cumulative: 40% means 40% of the line is done, not 40% more.
- A figure above Available% cannot be released.
- Previous% shows what earlier inspections already reported.

## Troubleshooting

**Q: A line item is missing.**
A: Line items come from the lender’s budget. Ask the lender to add it in the Ordering Engine.

**Q: Current% rejects my figure.**
A: It is above Available%. Enter the completed share within the limit and note the rest in Comment.

**Q: Can I change Previous%?**
A: No. Previous% is what earlier inspections reported. Report this visit in Current%.
